LANDesk Power Management- Available in v8.8 SP2

LANDesk Power Management functionality allows administrator's to centrally control end-node power consumption by facilitating the creation, financial evaluation, and deployment of power management policies.

The average energy cost of a typical desktop with monitor runs $89.00 per year, with laptops roughly costing $29.00 per year.  If the machine is put into standby mode during off hours, energy cost by average drops to roughly $18.00 per year.

By implementing a true Power Management Policy, you will not only reduce your energy usage/costs you won't be impacting your end user productivity.

Join the NAI team on Thursday October 16th @ 1:00 EST to learn more about the Power Management feature in v8.8 now available from LANDesk.

If your interested in attending please email me swatkins @ ldms.com and I will email you the LANDesk Power Management: Practical Policy Considerations white paper.

Have a great weekend and I look forward to speaking with you on the 16th!

Susie
